Up at 3:45am to get to the airport. Easy flight from Innsbruck to Vienna and then... we found our flight to Dublin does not exist! We have to stay tonight in Vennia - the city is filled with a convention this week - rooms are hard to get. We got a room in aa strange little place deep inthe city. It looked scary from the street, but after being buzzed in and taking a tiny elevator up 3 floors we checked in, then had to drag our heavy suitcases up one more floor. We were shown into our "suite" - double bed, two couches, two chairs coffee table with an early fleamarketdecor. After lunch at a pub (great goalash) we went sightseeing. "Old" in Europe is very different from "old" in Australia and the US. For about 4 hours we walked around buildings of beautiful architecture, covered with sculpture.
