I'm a local Firefighter (Boxford) and have been very impressed by your adventure -progress/ achievment. This requeired huge tenacity, courage and perseverance. You have more in six months than most do in a lifetime. Congratulations on completing such a significant life accomplishment. And, Kudos to your wife for supporting this. Welcome home.

2008 Guestbook Mountain Lion: What a perfect trail name!! My dad is a very active member of his Lions' Club in District 22-W (Libertytown-Unionville Lions Club) which is in Central Maryland. He showed me the article about your hike in the Lion magazine because I love to hike/backpack and I've done a bit on the AT (from Tagg Run Shelter in south Pennsylvania to Bearfence Mountain Hut in the Shenandoahs).
